The target audience for this cover is probably late teenage-early adult girls (16-23) Who like alternative and experimental music. This cover takes a more simple approach. My favorite part of this cover is it's simplicity, the simple text stating the band and title around a picture is quite interesting to me. I believe the designer's idea was to create a simple feel as it's only a single. This was seen as the cover art for The 1975's single "By Your Side"
