W6- "Boygenius"

The target audience for this cover is probably late teenage- early adult girls (16-23) Who like a variety of indie music. It's a simple album cover, lot of negative space which I find intriguing. It has a type face that fits the band as well. They produce sad and gentle music which I feel this type face highlights, another reason I like it. I believe the designer's idea was to capture the vibe the band would portray as this was their first EP. This was seen as the cover art for The Boygenius album "Boygenius"
