W8- "Red" Taylor Swift

The target audience for this cover is probably late teenage- early adult girls (16- early 20s) who enjoy pop music. I find this album cover quite interesting, something you don't see very often in the music industry. The block of color with the cut out letters making it more clear to see Taylor's face is eye-catching. I believe the designer's idea for this cover was to have an album that's not like the others and fits the album's pop vibe. This was seen as the cover art for Taylor Swift's album "Red"
